By car

From Stuttgart (180 km)
Highway A81 towards Singen. After the exit “Hegau“ there are signs for Konstanz. Once in Konstanz, follow the signs “Universität”.

From Munich (220 km)
Highway A96 towards Lindau. From Lindau B31 towards Meersburg. From Meersburg with the ferry to Konstanz. Once in Konstanz, follow the signs “Universität”.

From Zurich (75 km)
Highway A7 towards Kreuzlingen/Konstanz. After the border, first follow signs for ”Mainau“. Pay attention for signs “Universität”.

You can park at one of the university parking lots, which are marked ”Parkplatz Süd” (1,30 € per day). More Informations

By plane

There are three airports in reasonable vicinity to Konstanz:

Zurich (ZRH)

Regular train connections to Konstanz every 30 min., travel time ~ 1 h.

Important note Zurich is in Switzerland. Make sure you have your legal document to enter Germany

Stuttgart (STR)

Regular train connections every hour, travel time > 2 h.

Friedrichshafen (FDH)

Only sparingly served; regular train connections every hour, travel time ~ 1.5 h or Katamaran (http://en.der-katamaran.de/schedule-fares/schedule.html), travel time ~ 1.5 h.

By train

Destination: Hauptbahnhof Konstanz
Bus lines 9A/9B stops right in front of the train station and will take you directly to the main entrance of the university.

By bus

Line 9A/9B: Get on, for example, at the train station.
Line 11: Get on, for example, at Wollmatingen train station.
Line 4: Get on, for example, at the train station, get out at bus stop Egg, on the footpath you can reach the university.

By ferry

From Meersburg with the ferry to Konstanz. Get the bus line 1 (you will find the bus station at the ferry port) to station Sternenplatz. Change to Lines 9A or 9B (bus station on the other side of the street).
