Bachelor/ Master/ PhD students

We are constantly looking for dedicated candidates who would like to
draw up their Bachelor/ Master/ PhD students in our research group.

Our research focuses on the development and application of methods of
electron spin resonance spectroscopy. Typical applications range from
biophysics and biological chemistry to materials science and
spectroscopy. If you are interested, you can contact us directly: Malte
Drescher (

Below you can find recent examples of publications from Bachelor
(example 1, example 2, example 3, example 4, example 5, example 6, example 7) or Master Thesis (example 1, example 2, example 3, example 4, example 5).

Work topics for future work could include:

  • Rapid scan EPR spectroscopy
  • Development of methods for distance measurements in the nanometer range in living cells
  • Biophysical studies of intrinsically disordered protein alpha-synuclein
  • Optically detected resonance spectroscopy
