Alexander Flachmüller

Alexander is a chemist and especially interested in material sciences. He researches the influence different hydrophilic functionalities of telechelics (short polymers with 2 functional groups, so basically a form of bola-amphiphiles) on the formation, stability and structure of nanoparticles formed thereof, which are created and analyzed in the working group of Prof. Dr. Stefan Mecking. To investigate these processes and properties he performs multi-scale simulations of such nanoparticles.
