Graduate School Chemistry

Since 2008,  the Graduate School Chemistry (GCh) is available for doctoral researchers of the Department of Chemistry. It is the pivotal aim of the GCh to offer its doctoral researchers a structured, research-centered education and to foster scientific exchange both within the Department of Chemistry and between the different Departments of the Faculty of Sciences.

All important regulations are presented in the "Order of the Graduate School Chemistry" (first version as of 10.08.2011, last amendment of 14.02.2018). The date of the first version is also the effectvie date of the schedule of duties. Focus of the educational programme is a qualification concept that comprises reporting and evaluation talks (after 6 and 24 months) after the start of the doctoral research, and scientific (scientific courses and lectures) as well as non-scientific (transferable skills) training. The awareness of the interests is ensured by the representatives of the doctoral researchers in the executive board of the graduate school.

Hereafter you'll find useful information and forms as also an overview to the members of the Graduate School Chemistry.
