We congratulate Katharina for winning a poster prize at the Freiburger Inorganic Days!

After a long break due to Covid, the Freiburger Inorganic Days were finally called back to life, with keynote lectures by professors from all over Germany. The Freiburger Inorganic Days additionally offered over 50 students the chance to present their research in the form of a poster.

Katharina, whose research focuses on emissive bismuth complexes, won a second prize for the presentation of her research in a very short time. Additionally, in addition to the presentation of the emissive and optical properties of her compounds, she presented her time-dependent density functional theory calculations as well as electrochemical measurements, painting a detailed and harmonious picture of these compounds.
